SOS BY SZA Sza made her comeback, and it was ahh-mazing! SOS has become one of my favorite albums of the year (possibly all time) despite coming out December ninth! Every song makes the listener want to scream out the lyrics and have a story to relate to. TOP THREE SONGS: Kill Bill, Special, & F2F MIDNIGHTS BY TAYLOR SWIFT My top Spotify artist! If you’re a true CB reader, you’re definitely not shocked to see miss Swift here, especially after she’s been featured one too many times in my playlist. Not everyone gets me midnights how I get midnights! This album is dreamy, fun, and a perfect ‘midnight’ listen. TOP THREE SONGS: Paris, Would've Could've Should've, & Maroon HARRYS HOUSE BY HARRY STYLES One of my all-time favorite Harry albums! This deserved a spot on the list because guess what? I heard it live! Almost every song from Harrys House lived on my ‘on repeat’ playlist. This is a dance around your bedroom while singing off-key. TOP THREE SONGS: Keep driving, Matilda, & Cinema EMAILS I CANT SEND BY SABRINA CARPENTER The best pop album of 2022! Every single song melts my heart. It’s heartbreaking but romantic, an album dedicated to lover girls. Sabrina absolutely killed this, and I’d say this is possibly my favorite work from her! TOP THREE SONGS: Nonsense, Skinny dipping, & Emails I can't send RENAISSANCE BY BEYONCÉ Queen B! I mean, it’s Beyoncé, so obviously I’m going to adore it. Renaissance is an album that reminds me so much of the works of Donna Summer or something that would’ve been played in Studio 54! TOP THREE SONGS: Alien superstar, Cuff it, & I'm that girl THE LONELIEST TIME BY CARLY RAE JEPSON This is an album that completely shocked me because I didn’t expect myself to fall in love with it the way I did, but it’s a must listen - you’ll come out as a Carly Rae Jepsen fan. TOP THREE SONGS: Beach house, Shooting star, & Talking to yourself SPECIAL BY LIZZO Lizzo has this way of bringing joy to anyone who listens to her and it's absolutely beautiful. Special came out in July and was the perfect album for a summer filled with fun and girl-power! TOP THREE SONGS: Grrrls, Special, & Birthday girl TRAUMAZINE BY MEGAN THEE STALLION Thee hottie! Everyone loves her, she’s the it girl of music. Megan Thee Stallion is always making songs that bring out your inner hot girl and Traumazine was a great feeling yourself album. TOP THREE SONGS: Not nice, Sweetest pie, & Her NEW JEANS BY NEW JEANS This isn’t technically an album since it’s an EP, but it has some of my favorite songs of the year. The era surrounding the EP just made it so much better with music videos that had awesome styling and great concepts. TOP THREE SONGS: Attention, Hype boy, & Hurt DAMN FM BY THE WEEKND Every album by The Weeknd could be classified as a favorite of mine, so it’s no shock that Dawn Fm made the list. Stayed up till midnight to listen and didn’t regret it. This album was cool and has its own unique sound I can listen to forever.
